A Compelling Path
The Four Noble Truths & The Eightfold Path
6-week meditation course
Tuesdays 19:30-21:00 CET
November 4th- December 9th, 2025
There are thousands of pages documenting and commenting on the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama, more known as The Buddha. Despite that, the Buddha repeatedly said that he only teaches one thing:
Dukkha and the end of Dukkha.
The Pali word Dukkha often gets translated to suffering. If that makes you think of some horrific torture chamber, then think about unwanted things happening (getting sick, missing the bus, getting dumped, dropping the heirloom vase and breaking it etc) and wanted things not happening (not getting the promotion, not winning the lottery, the date not calling back etc).
Often we find ourselves never being able to relax, always trying to improve the situation, get rid of something, obtain something else.
The Buddha taught long and hard about these things, or so the story goes. And one day, while meditating under a Banyan tree, he saw clearly how dukkha comes about, and how we stop (most of) it from happening.
This is how we became The Buddha, the one who woke up. And he devoted the rest of his life to help others do the same.

And his teachings continue to help and inspire millions of people across the world. They've inspired and helped myself immensely and therefore I'm happy to share these teachings with you!
